Welcome to the first entry of our blog authored by the Revival Dermatology team! We are so excited to open our doors to our local Dallas and Fort Worth neighbors in our new space in Preston Center. After practicing dermatology in different environments over a combined 30 years, we have created what we believe will be a space where our patients can feel like a part of our family in a state-of-the-art practice that is comfortable and patient-focused. What does that mean for our patients? No rushing through visits, no feeling like “just a number”, we want to collaborate with you to determine the best path to addressing your medical, surgical and cosmetic needs and goals. Your skin concerns are important to us and we want to give you the attention and care we would a dear friend or family member.

Board certified dermatologists are the true skin experts. Owned and operated by doctors Jon and Lisa Pruett, we bring an elevated level of expertise to our patients in all things skin, hair and nails. Did you know that we have to complete a minimum of seven years of medical training and have over 12,000 patient care hours to become a  board-certified dermatologist? Three of these seven years are dedicated solely to dermatology after completing the five years of foundational training that it takes to become a practicing physician.

We are expertly equipped to take care of all of your skin needs, be it your child with a rash or warts, your teenager who is dealing with acne concerns, your own diagnosis of psoriasis or troubling dermatitis, hair loss, skin cancers, worrisome moles or new growths on your skin.

Dermatologists are also the pioneers of cosmetic procedures such as wrinkle-relaxing injections like Botox cosmetic, soft-tissue fillers, laser treatments, microneedling, chemical peels and body sculpting. The cosmetic realm of dermatology is constantly evolving and we are here to serve you as the true skin experts, helping you navigate and educate you on the  options that are proven to work, and inform you on what treatments are simply hype.
