Originally from southern Louisiana, Dr. Pruett grew up following her father around on internal medicine rounds at Highland Park Hospital in Covington, Louisiana and watching her mother attend medical school at LSU-New Orleans at the age of 40. Her love for science, learning and helping others set her on the path to becoming a physician.

Dr. Pruett began her dermatology career with Ochsner Health System, starting a clinic in a New Orleans suburb in 2007. In 2009, she moved to Dallas and joined Trinity Dermatology, where she practiced until early 2021 when she and her husband, Dr. Jon Pruett opened Revival Dermatology, their own more personalized practice.
